FRICTION is back in full swing for 2008 with two kick-ass shows on the horizon — one goes on sale today and the other on Monday. Save these dates and GET HYPE!

The first FRICTION of the New Year will be on February 21st at The Mercury Lounge featuring THE BIG SLEEP, SIAN ALICE GROUP, and HEAVY CREATURES. We’ll be celebrating the release of The Big Sleep’s sophomore album, Sleep Forever, out on French Kiss February 19th. In addition, we’ll also be celebrating the stateside release of Sian Alice Group’s debut, 59.59. One more band TBA soon. Tickets for this show go on sale Monday, January 14th at 12:00PM.

Following the February show and this year’s SXSW, FRICTION will be back at the Mercury Lounge on March 26th with a lineup featuring CRYSTAL CASTLES, HEALTH, TEAM ROBESPIERRE, and APACHE BEAT. Tickets for this show go on sale today (January 11th) at 12:00PM.
