I don’t know about you, but I listen to podcasts ALOT. In addition to NPR’s This American Life, I love KEXPs series of podcasts, including Music That Matters (MTM), Song of the Day, and Live Performances. Being a subscriber to MTM, I get to sample the flavors of different DJ’s musical tastes, like that of our good friend John Richards. Check out Vol. 74 for some of his favorite tunes from the morning show.

The most recent podcast by DJ Chilly might be the best of the year. Well, it is a summary of the best hip-hop of the year and the tracklisting is impressive, an eclectic mix of hip-hop and underground rap that plays more like a mix-tape than a radio broadcast. Download the mp3, upload the podcast, or just stream from the site. They have always been a leader in bringing music to the fans and making it so accessible. Keep it up KEXP!
