Just In Time for the Holidays…Hot Dr. Pepper!

I came across this at Retro Thing. It’s hard to believe Dr. Pepper actually promoted this. The ad is from the 60s and I’m guessing it never caught on cause who wants a hot cup of sugared soda?! Anyone ever tried it?

    Actually, coca-cola boiled with ginger is a popular cold remedy beverage in china! Don’t know how popular it is elsewhere..

    Christopher Walken drank that in that movie with Brendan Fraser. Can’t remember the name of the movie…set in a 1950’s cold war underground house.

    DR.PEPPER WAS ALWAYS DRANK HOT WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT. USED AS MEDICINE FOR COLDS LIKE ASPIRIN. IT MAKES YOUR TONGUE NUMB
