My boys, The Cribs from Wakefield, UK have become one of my favorite bands in recent years. The Jarman brothers have a way of putting together catchy punk rocky tunes with anthemic dueling vocals. Their next album Men’s Needs, Womens Needs, Whatever (awesome a**hole title) will be released in the States on July 17, with an available digital date of May 22.
The new album was produced by Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand (which was why Pat and I saw them at this party back in January) and mixed by Andy Wallace (Jeff Buckley, Nirvana). Been totally digging their first single “Men’s Needs“. Plus the chick in their wacked-out video is explosively hot! (makes you wanna watch more chicks from Simian Mobile Disco’s Hustler) I can’t wait for the new album to drop.
