A couple of months back I featured Luca Venezia aka Drop the Lime on our weekly “Friday Mix” post. Sadly, ”Friday Mix” has gone the way of the dinosaurs, but Venezia is back with a kick ass side project called Curses!
Bruno told me about Curses! a little while ago and I checked out his site and didn’t really get into it too much.  Maybe it was the weather or something. Weeks go by without a thought of Curses! until today when I was cruising around on MySpace and came across Curses! page and thought, “why not give it another shot?” Up to that point, it was just another boring ass January day, not much unlike Monday, supposedly the worst day ever. Enter “Hungry 4 Love” and after a 23 second buildup I’m filled with a burst of energy as the volume slowly creeps up in my headphones and eyes around the office dart at me while I shake my head in my chair. Should have thrown up a fist up too, that’s what this song really makes me want to do. In other words…this song gets me HYPE! Curses! for me not realizing this sooner.

must of not been awake when you were listening to this. the first 20 seconds sounds is the whole song.

I get where your coming from nghia. the song posted above is a little different from the song on the curses! myspace (where it’s shortened). granted it could use some more noise at the buildups, but the song is still pretty killer.
