Thieves Like Us, the temporarily New York City-based Swedish/American three-piece (that met in Berlin) recently singed with French label Kitsuné. The trio will be joining a killer roster of bands that released tracks on the label, including Tom Vek, Hot Chip, Simian Mobile Disco, Lo Fi Fnk, Cut Copy, Bloc Party, The Whitest Boy Alive, Klaxons, Gossip, Guns ‘n’ Bombs, Phones, Boys Noize, and tons more.
The band is set to release two singles on the label, a 12″ of the synthy disco track “Drugs In My Body” and another TBA. New Yorkers are on borrowed time, as the band is looking to set up a residency in France sometime soon. So if you live here or anywhere close, catch Thieves Like Us while you can.
