Explosions in the Sky’s New Song and News: All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone

This explosive news just makes my cold winter morning bearable. Get Hype!!! My Texas boys, Explosions in the Sky, are gettting ready to drop their first real album in 4 years. All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone (yet another melancholy title) is out February 20th on Temporary Residence. Check out the new song ‘Welcome, Ghost’ below. More from Pitchfork. A “13+ minute epic “It’s Natural to Be Afraid”” WTF!? Awesome. If you haven’t gotten tix to their 2 NYC area shows, you’re probably already out of luck. I did, front and center row seats.

Yes its true, their music is used for selling Caddys (1 and 2)

I’ve been a fan since the very beginning, and I hate to say it but the new track “Welcome, Ghosts” is just plain bad. Uninspired, treading the exact same waters, and mixed funny, with no memorable melodies. Not looking forward to the rest.
