FRICTION NYC

It’s been a pretty hectic week over here at CU, juggling actual work duties, fighting colds, hitting up some CMJ shows, catching The OC season premiere last night, and getting all the loose ends tied up for TONIGHT’S FRICTION show. We typically don’t post the day of the show, but we really wanted to remind everyone about the cracker hoedown, commonly referred to as “FRICTION”, tonight at Sin-e.

We’re super stoked about the lineup and having KEXP in town for their second FRICTION show. The festivities are going to be kicking off early and running late as we co-host the KEXP Listener Party at Sin-e Bar from 6pm-8pm with The Obsessive Compulsive handling the decks. FREE Budweiser beer starting at 6pm and lasting until it runs out.

After the preparty, FRICTION gets underway with The Shackeltons warming up the stage for A Sunny Day In Glasgow, The Diggs, The Diableros, Pela, Uncut, and headliners Dirty On Purpose. In true FRICTION fashion, Crackers United are going to be sponsoring a FREE Sparks! bar from 9pm to 10pm. The guys from Femme Generation are going to keep the party hype on the decks between sets. If you’re lucky, they might even throw some candy at you.
