Thanks to everyone who made it out to FRICTION last night. Those who were there were treated to a superb show thanks to Cassettes Won’t Listen, The Foundry Field Recordings, and Apes and Androids.
Daily Refill has a clip up of Apes and Androids set for those of you who missed out. The clip is only 15 seconds, but in that short amount of time it captures the band’s awe-inspiring set that the 200 people or so experienced last night. Hopefully, there’s some more footage out there of all three bands, I did see a couple of video cameras throughout the night. If so, please leave a link to it in the comments section.
FRICTION is back at Sin-e in just a few weeks with the mighty Annuals, Takka Takka, Femme Generation, and shoegazers A Brief Smile. Tickets for this show are available on Ticketweb .
Also, does anyone have any suggestions for a different alcoholic beverage for the open bar? I’m not sure if I can handle drinking Sparks again, or even smelling it.
UPDATE: Patrick’s pictures are up from the night, head over to our Flickr page to see them. Also, Brooklyn Ski Club has a really nice recap of Apes and Androids set along with a video clip of “Hot Kathy”.

anything but sparks.
great lineup for the next one!! cant wait.
Awesome show last night. CWL was amazing, handling everything by himself. although the diggs remix was hot! Foundry Field and AnA also put on a hell of a show. good night all around!!
Yeah, I’d say you had one too many. I ended up getting a beer bath last nite, ya jerk!
if the bartendress really hated you, you were given DIET sparks. so. much. worse.
good job crackers crew!
diet sparks should be banned. sparks contains about 250 calories a pop so cutting it down to 150 doesn’t do anything other than ruin taste. besides, after about 5 of those things, who’s counting calories?
