The Prids | NYC Dates

Do yourself a favor and go see The Prids this week while they’re in town. Justin previewed the new album Until The World Is Beautiful a couple of months ago, out now on Five03 Records. Their style of gloomy post-punk, “grooving and vibing” heavy basslines, male/female melodies have been leaving me with high-blood pressure (but in a good way). You’ve been warned, the basslines and jangly guitars are tight.
Label mates Bell Hollow whom I’ve mentioned before open their Southpaw show. BH’s first official EP Sons of the Burgess Shale is available now.
