If you live in New York City and frequently go to live shows and have not yet seen Foreign Islands, you really have to stop and ask yourself…â€why?†These guys have been tearing it up in local venues and building a solid reputation as one of the best live acts in the city in recent months. They are the sum of all experiences you should get when going to see a rock band with a quick, tight, energetic set that leaves you feeling like you just got tumbled dried on high heat at the local laundromat. Comparisons have been made to Les Savy Fav, Thunderbirds are Now, and Gang of Four, but Foreign Islands bring us their own blend of spastic dance-rock that leaves the listener begging for more.
